Batch Plant A factory or batching plant that manufactures ready-mix concrete according to a set recipe for sale off-site
Berm A man-made mound of earth used as a barrier to separate two areas

Gravel Mine An open-pit mine – typically enlarged until the mineral resource is exhausted
Habitat Management Plan  A dynamic working document that provides managers a decision making process; guidance for the management of habitat; and long term vision, continuity, consistency for habitat management
Lead Agency Governmental body responsible for project compliance with environmental requirements of SEPA and cognizant agencies
LUPA Washington State Land Use Petition Act
NOI Notice of Intent – Document issued by Lead Agency informing of intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement
NPDES National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System
